哈利王子與妻子梅根自年初公開宣布將卸下皇室成員身分後，首次回國出席皇室相關活動。兩人預計會在這個月把行程跑完，並在四月時正式卸下頭銜，並移居加拿大。關於日後開銷，這對夫妻表示將不會再接受納稅人的金錢資助，會靠自己謀生。
“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages. 夫妻倆今天一同出席英國一年一度的奮進基金獎，在步入會場前，兩人在雨中勾手並相視而笑，雖然天氣不佳，但看得出回國的兩人心情並未受影響。紳士的哈利王子為妻子撐傘，梅根則是甜蜜地挽著丈夫，兩人不時對民眾揮手微笑打招呼，彼此也不時看向對方，畫面十分溫馨。

梅根身穿「貝嫂」維多利亞貝克漢的貼身藍色洋裝，腳上的是Jimmy Choo尖頭細跟鞋，手裡拿著Stella McCartney手拿包，一身行頭直逼台幣十萬元。哈利王子則身穿同色調的深藍色西裝，兩人在服裝的搭配上看起來十分協調，一同燦笑走在雨中的樣子也很夢幻。

兩人在卸下皇室頭銜後將帶著兒子亞契一同移居加拿大，也許梅根會回歸演員本業。這對皇室夫妻穿得美美的畫面可能也所剩不多了，且看且珍惜呀！
